Job Description: In order to support System Test Means department, in charge of developing and maintaining system test means, i.e. the critical infrastructure that supports avionics integration and systems testing, Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Working student for coordination of Test Means innovation projects (d/f/m) You are a full time student, looking for a working student position and want to get to know the work of a Junior innovation projects coordinator? Location: Donauwörth Start: As soon as possible Duration: 12 to 24 months Definition working student Working students are students who are enrolled at a University or some other institution of higher education, and who are employed in a reasonably long, fixed-term position parallel to their studies. This position must not be confused with an internship or with the possibility of writing a final thesis. This employment usually takes place directly on the company's premises. A working student's main focus remains on their studies, which is why, during term-time, working students are not allowed to work more than 20 hours per week. Working students therefore usually work near their place of study, so as to conveniently combine studying and employment. Your location At our Donauwörth site, located on the banks of the river Danube, we develop helicopters from the initial idea to the airworthy product. Watch them take off and touch down on our own on-site test airfield. Your tasks and responsibilities Establish and maintain a structured system for the coordination of System Test Means department innovation topics, ensuring all innovation projects follow a consistent lifecycle from ideation to implementation. Drumbeat our multidisciplinary innovation projects portfolio by tracking milestones, sharing regular progress updates, and visualizing the roadmap for the team. Organize and facilitate project reviews and technical workshops, ensuring that team members are synchronized and that project goals remain aligned with the team's strategy. Translate complex innovation content from project meetings and inputs from technical experts (e.g., test automation bricks, robotic integration, electronics etc.) into clear, accessible updates to ensure all team members understand the "why" and "how" behind each project. Actively gather technical feedback and comments from the team, ensuring these insights are documented and systematically integrated into the projects’ development cycle. Desired skills and qualifications Enrolled full-time student in the area of General Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering or an equivalent field of study; First practical experience in the field of electrical systems, electronics or systems engineering is desirable; Fluent in German and English You like to focus on the "big picture" of how complex components work together. You are naturally organized and proactive. You don’t just wait for updates; you go out and gather them to keep the project momentum high. You can take a complex technical explanation and summarize it clearly for different audiences. You have a collaborative spirit and enjoy acting as the "bridge" between different technical views, ensuring everyone is aligned.
