No. 2 Mechanic Contractor – Non F1

We are looking for a short-term No. 2 Mechanic Contractor who can join us as soon as possible to work on a non-F1 motorsport project for our  Aston Martin Performance Technologies team until the end of September 2026. Key Responsibilities: Drawing on their own skills, experience, and judgement, the No. 2 Mechanic Contractor will be responsible for the assembly, fit, maintenance, and repairs of all mechanical parts for the project car, in accordance with safety standards. This will involve pre-event preparation, event attendance, and post-event turnaround. This position would suit applicants who are looking for an Inside IR35 contract. Solid trackside experience as a Mechanic in a motorsport environment is an preferred, although factory-based will be considered. The work will involve some overseas event attendance, so ability to travel is essential.
