Working within a fast-paced engineering environment, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely production of components that meet the highest quality standards.  Key Responsibilities: Machine composite components using 5 axis CNC machines and offline CNC programs.   Manufacture patterns, moulds, jigs, Rohacell components, and additional tooling required by the business.   Interpret and work from engineering drawings to maintain precision and identify any issues prior to removing parts from the machine.   Monitor workloads and production schedules to ensure parts are delivered on time, communicating any delays or concerns proactively.   Maintain CNC machines and tooling to maximise performance, extend service life, and minimise downtime.   Continuously improve machining methods and processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and overall productivity.   Work closely with CNC Programmers to provide feedback on machining performance, technical issues, and process improvements.   Prepare and cut stock materials for machining operations where required.   Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment at all times.   Support the Pattern Shop and tooling machining operations during periods of lower composite demand.   Assist across other areas of the department as required to support business needs.   Meet the operational demands and flexibility required within Car Build working hours.   Skills & Expertise: Strong understanding of composite machining techniques, tooling manufacture, and precision machining within tight-tolerance environments, ensuring components consistently meet exacting quality standards.   Previous experience working within a Pattern Shop, CNC machining environment, or similar manufacturing setting, ideally within Formula One, motorsport, aerospace, or other high-performance engineering industries.   Highly proficient in reading, interpreting, and working from detailed engineering drawings and CAD data to produce accurate, high-quality components.   Good working knowledge of CNC programming principles, offline machining processes, and traditional pattern making methods, with the ability to identify opportunities for process improvement.   Flexible and adaptable approach to working hours and business demands, particularly during busy car build periods where priorities can change rapidly.   Positive, proactive, and solutions-focused mindset with strong communication skills and the confidence to work collaboratively across departments.   Excellent problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering work to the highest possible standard.   Strong awareness and commitment to maintaining Health & Safety standards, housekeeping, and safe working practices within a workshop environment.   Self-motivated and capable of working independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team-focused manufacturing operation.   Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and consistently meeting tight production deadlines. Please note this role is working on a weekend shift.   Benefits: Investing in your career is paramount. We promote professional and personal development through a provision of learning opportunities and work with you to shape your career and realise your full potential.
