Job Description: In order to support the Electrical & Control Germany Team, Airbus Defence and Space is looking for an Avionics Equipment Engineer – Aircraft General Systems (d/f/m) Our department develops top-notch, high-fidelity general systems control engineering solutions for a variety of aircrafts, supporting the entire development, test and in-service lifecycle. We are looking for an avionics equipment engineer in the context of aircraft general system control hardware and software. This includes the control & monitoring of general systems (e.g. landing gear) but also centralized maintenance systems. In this function you will work with equipment suppliers to develop high quality airborne solutions up to certification. Your tasks and responsibilities Develop Aircraft General Systems Control Avionics for the Eurofighter and future military aircraft programmes. Specify, test and generate certification evidence. Guide a supplier to design, develop, qualify and manufacture avionic equipment and software. Provide system engineering support to integration of systems and system components into the aircraft. Provide system engineering support to aircraft build line, flight test, maintenance repair and overhaul and retrofit programmes. Liaise with internal partners, external suppliers, national and international customers and partner companies. Desired skills and qualifications Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering. At least 3 years of professional experience in a related field. Experience in a comparable role. Experience in Electronics, Avionic Development, Embedded Systems. Experience in Requirements Engineering. Knowledge of standards about Hardware / Software Design Assurance, Environmental and Electromagnetic Effects Qualification. Fluent in English, German beneficial. Not a 100% match? No worries!
