ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Repair, maintain and make improvements to all tools and fixtures Demonstrates ability to use all hand measurement tools. Assist technical services in machine repair, change over, set up and operation as required Safely operate all tool room equipment inclusive of Bridgeport mill, lathe, surface grinder, etc. Have abilities to assemble and disassemble tooling, dies and gauges Trouble shoot and resolve tooling problems Work with various materials such as tool steels, plastics, aluminum, and copper Must have or acquire personal tools to perform job assignment Demonstrates ability to read and interpret tooling drawings QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
